Rob at 21st Century has been a God sent! If ten stars was possible that is what I would give Rob. I work in automotive, Rob has been a customer of mine for years. Always pleasant and understanding. My central heating stopped working and I casually brought it up to him while at work. I had another company come up and prior that told me I pretty much needed a new unit. Rob kindly asked if I would like a second opinion on my heater not working. So I took him up on it. Within 1-2 visits, he diagnosed my issue, found that the repairs I was told I needed were not necessary. Saved me thousands. This company is straight forward, knowledgeable, no bs. I highly recommend! Very clean, personal, and professional. If you're questioning calling for an estimate on an issue, don't hesitate, call Rob.

Robert just finished installing a new furnace in my home in Pollock Pines. I couldn't be happier with his work! He is extremely conscientious, and obviously really knows his stuff. He went above and beyond to help my son and me clean out a packed storage area by leaving his dump trailer, overnight, then hauling it all away. His kindness and generosity were so much appreciated! We are building an ADU on my rental property. Robert has already seen it, and will be prepared to start work when we break ground in the coming weeks ahead. I contacted several plumbing companies on a Saturday morning as my main line sprung a leak at midnight on a Friday night. After many attempts Robert was my last call. I'm so glad I called. He was out in less than an hour and restored our water within an hour. His rate was reasonable and his advice honest and trustworthy. Robert is now my go to plumber in Cameron Park.

I had a water heater suddenly go out - suddenly - no warning - and it was a COLD day. I actually called several places in my effort and was SUPER glad I connected with 21st Century Plumbing Heating & Air. From my initial phone contact to the service completion - these folks are awesome. This really seems like a customer centric organization - no phone tree with long hold times - none of that. And did I mention that they fixed my water heater he same day? Either they are very conscious of other originations and their customer facing presence, differentiating themselves - or - they just have a great team. I feel like it's both 🙂

Robert is the BEST!!! My furnace wouldn't start. I tried going through my home warranty company and they scheduled me for 12 days out. Not acceptable! I called 21st Century and Robert came out in 2 days (It was November and the beginning of the cold season so he was slammed) He diagnosed my problem and had me up and running in no time. He also walked me through the troubleshooting process and taught me a lot about my system and how it works and what to look for in the future if I have problems again.
The price was right VERY reasonable and will refer him to anyone who is in need of help. Also, I really like the fact that when you call, a real person answers the phone! Donna is a very delightful person and always a pleasure to talk to 🙂 Thank you, JR

Finally had a snowfall in Camino. Which is not the time you want to find out that your furnace isn't working, but it IS the time you're likely to find out that your furnace isn't working. Thankfully, Robert was able to make it out the same day, diagnosed the problem (control board on the furnace was shot, which isn't a huge surprise for a 20+ year old furnace), identified an additional issue (furnace was pulling some very dirty makeshift make up air out of the crawl space where it's installed), and gave me a fair quote for all the work. Good guy, good business. Like a lot of my clients say about me, I hope I don't need Robert's again, but if I do, I'll happily give him a call. So should you.

Robert came to my house and fixed a pinhole leak in a copper pipe that had developed in my wall. He was one of very few local plumbers that actually answered the phone when I called, and made arrangements to come the same day that I called--even after hours, in the evening. Robert allowed me, the homeowner, to help him with certain aspects of the job (like removing the vanity), so that the job could go by quicker. He was very patient and didn't mind me hovering over his shoulder so that I could watch and observe. He also was cool with me doing the drywall repair and was happy to just do the work that I asked him to do (fixing a pipe). I know that some contractors will insist on doing *all* of the work, and will bill you accordingly, even when you're handy and willing to do some of the work yourself.
On top of all of this, Robert was very patient and accommodating while I tried to get my Mickey Mouse home warranty company to reimburse me. When the home warranty company insisting on really asinine invoice requirements, Robert was happy to send not one, but three different invoices to satisfy them.
I don't have a good basis to judge Robert's pricing because he was the only plumber that I called, but I feel like what I paid was fair based on: (A) the amount of time he spent on the issue; and (B) how far out in the country I am.
Robert will be my first call for plumbing needs, and I'll keep him in mind for HVAC issues as well.

Words cannot convey how ecstatic my husband and I are that we reached out to 21st Century Plumbing to assist us with locating a water leak on our property. Unfortunately, we had contacted THREE other companies to assist us with this task. We were quoted by the previous contractors that it would cost thousands of dollars to remedy our problem!! If not for one of the contractors suggesting to us that we find another contractor, we would have never been blessed to have Robert, of 21st Century Plumbing to "save the day". Robert arrived at 10:30 a.m. and did not leave until 11:30 p.m. He was determined to find our leak and he did. He gave us a quote at the beginning of the day, and honored that quote. Robert and his crew showed their knowledgeable and expertise by utilizing "out of the box" methods to locate and repair our leak.
I will let Robert tell what method he used to locate our leak when you hire him for your job. 21st Century Plumbing was "Heaven Sent".

Robert absolutely hooked us up and I would recommend him 100%. This was our first winter in Placerville and our heater was not blowing into our room or the baby's bedroom. You can imagine how unpleasant that was! He came out on short notice, went into our attic and gave us a full scope overview of what work needs to be done and what work could be done in the future. The heating system is quite dated, so my husband and I had some serious discussions about what repairs we could afford. A few days later, Robert called us out of the blue and said he had some free time and could swing by to make some quick repairs and get us comfortable for the time being. Within an hour we had heat blasting in both bedrooms! As I was writing him a check for his time, he said "don't worry about it, have a great day." If you have any HVAC needs, don't hesitate to call Robert.

Excellent service! Our hot water heater broke, I called Robert at 5:45pm, he was at our house at 7pm. He was very nice, knowledgeable, and fast. He even fixed our broken sink handles while he was here. Highly recommend calling 21st Century.

My husband’s company had a water main break in their parking lot. 21st Century was on site within a couple of hours after the call to the office. They worked diligently into the night to find and repair the area. All while staying in contact with my husband on their progress. We can’t say enough positive remarks about this company. We’ve never been so impressed. They will now be our go-to company in the future.

Robert became my new best friend. He came out stating "no job to small to at least bid" we negotiated and he fixed the items I called him about quickly and efficiently. When I then had an urgent issue a few days later he came out and helped me immediately. He has even instructed me on how to do some home repairs on my own. I highly recommend this man for all your home needs as he can basically fix it all or refer you to someone else!

We had a broken water line under the floor in upstair bathroom. Called 3 or4 plumbing companies, no one could help me until the following week. Then I called 21st century plumbing,talk to Robert, and his first question was "where do you live". He was at our house in less than 20 minutes,looked at the problem, made a suggestion as to the fix and in less than 2 hours we were repaired. Because of his professionalism I had Robert do some other plumbing related work. Robert has a mind for problem solving, is quick and decisive and an all around brillant craftsman.

I was having a big problem with a leak and I was able to speak with Robert and have him come out the same day. He did a wonderful job and also was very nice and professional. I needed a job done rather quickly and Robert responded. He was prompt, professional, and fair. The job took him five minutes to complete, and he chose not to charge me for labor and parts, only the service call which I hope covered his fuel expenses. In these times when good business practices are beginning to falter, Robert stepped up. 21st Century will be my first call in the future, and the only recommendation that I give.
